Each Ultimo Rug is made with the same exacting features and fittings that include:
Quality 18oz or 12oz Duratex Blue Canvas.
With a dart inserted at the shoulder and hip to provide a shaped contour to fit your horse.
Suitable for most shapes of ponies/horses.
Double riveted leg straps and back dees.
A genuine New Zealand sheepskin pad protects the wither.
Leg straps are manufactured from heavy chrome leather.
All leg strap fittings are leather and doubled riveted for added safety.
The thick thermal fabric lining, provides real warmth with the ability to wick away any moisture from the horse.
4 neck piece dee attachments spaced to fit the Ultimo neck cover.
This is our standard 18oz winter rug manufactured using 18oz Duratex Canvas - a hardwearing waterproof canvas.
Thermal lined with a regular canvas drop of 1m.
The Ultimo Sheet is an unlined version of the Original, and is available in 2 weights.
- 12oz Duratex for a lightweight summer sheet.
- 18oz Duratex as a heavier and more hardwearing waterproof sheet.
The Ultimo Mesh Sheet is made from poly cotton ripstop canvas and durabe PVC mesh.
This cover is the same pattern design of all the Ultimo Covers.
The mesh along the bottom of the cover allows for greater air flow for coolness.
The lightweight canvas along the top of the cover helps keep UV rays from bleaching the coat.
All Ultimo Neck Covers are manufactured in 12oz or 18oz Duratex Canvas
(depending on the cover it is to match) and feature;
A satin strip to prevent the mane from rubbing
PVC Stiffening along either side of the neck to stop slippage
Snap lock clips which are easily fastened on the neckstraps.
A double back velcro system to connect the neck cover to the cover "D" rings which ensures they are easily interchanged
between all Ranfurly Rugs.
