Each Ranfurly Rug is made with the same exacting features and fittings that include:
Reinforced shaped shoulder inserts provide freedom for your horse and prevents rubbing.
A genuine New Zealand sheepskin pad protects the wither.
Leg straps are manufactured from heavy chrome leather, designed for safety and comfort.
All fittings are heavy chrome leather and doubled riveted for added safety.
The thick thermal fabric lining, provides real warmth with the ability to wick away any moisture from the horse.

The Ranfurly Original Rug (pictured above)
This is our standard autum/winter rug manufactured using 15oz, 18oz or 24oz Regentex Ripstop Canvas.
The Ranfurly Original has a regular canvas drop of 1m, this is our top seller in the Ranfurly Range.
A choice of lining to suit the conditions in your area. Choose from;
Cotton - 100% cotton drill that breathes and shines the coat, tough and durable. Suitable for summer and inbetween seasons.
Jute - 100% flax material that breathes and shines the coat, suitable for inbetween seasons or winter for warmer climates.
Polypropylene - A synthetic/wool blend fibre with wick away moisture properties. Suitable for milder autumn/winter weather.
Wool - 100% 540 gsm. A snugly warm lining suited for colder climates.
Thermal - 80% wool 20% polyester. A lovely thick dense fabric suitable for real cold winter nights.

The Ranfurly 4 seasons
This multi-purpose rug has been designed with New Zealand's changing climatic conditions in mind.
The 4 Seasons shell is manufactured in hard wearing18oz Regentex with all the features of the Original.
You can purchase interchangeable washable linings of your choice of which can be easily added or removed.
Also can be used with two linings stacked under the canvas outer.
The Ranfurly Four Seasons shell comes with velcro attachments for the linings.
Linings to choose from Cotton, Jute, Polypropylene, Thermal or Wool.

Ranfurly Neck Covers
All Ranfurly Neck Covers are manufactured in 12oz, 15oz or 18oz Regentex Canvas
(depending on the cover it is to match) and feature;
A satin strip to prevent the mane from rubbing.
PVC Stiffening along either side of the neck to stop slippage.
Snap lock clips which are easily fastened on the neckstraps.
Sturdy Industrial Velcro to connect the neck cover to the cover "D" rings which ensures they are safe easily interchanged
between all Ranfurly Rugs.
Or available with Leather Buckles & Points.

The Ranfurly Wrap Neck Cover is a deeper shape that contours around the neck suited to high crested crossbred horses.
Available unlined or with a polypropylene lining.

The Ranfurly Standard Neck Cover is the basic design neck cover providing protection for the neck suited to horses with average crest and length of neck. Available unlined or with a polypropylene lining.
